Digital Marketing Executive – Pedestrian TV

Having started out as a purely social media agency ten years ago, The Township has evolved into the Creative and Digital agency it is today, servicing clients in a range of industries, including Health & Beauty, Sports, Toys, Agriculture and Not-for-Profit. 

We tailor campaigns and marketing activity based on clients business objectives and needs, working as an extension of our client’s marketing teams, collaborating with them for the ultimate success of the campaigns.

We are looking for a digital marketing executive to join our team and manage a variety of paid media campaigns and advertising channels. We are looking for the right person for our team, who has a good understanding and interest in all digital marketing activities and tools. And who is curious and willing to learn, as well as guide others. 

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Digital Campaigns
    • Planning, documentation and implementation of performance marketing strategies for digital campaign clients
    • Communication & advising clients on optimisation of budgets and channels for best performance. 
  • Digital Tools Knowledge
    • Build, monitor and optimisation of Social Advertising & Boosting [mainly Facebook & Instagram] Campaigns
    • Build, monitor and optimisation of Google Ads [Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display] 
    • Build, monitor and optimisation of Email Marketing Campaigns
    • Audit and advise on set up of optimal tracking for Facebook Pixel, G.Analytics & Tag Manager. 
    • Understanding of Affiliate marketing campaigns. 
  • Reporting
    • Review and Analysis of campaigns, with optimisation recommendations
    • Assisting the team with benchmarking & KPI’s for proposals and optimisation of campaigns to reach targets.
  • Budget Management
    • Budget management and tracking for advertising campaigns, ensure accurate spend on campaigns.

Experience:

  • Track record of managing multi-channel campaigns and accounts
  • 1-3 years experience in a digital / marketing / media / advertising environment
  • Good client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships
  • Experience managing multiple client budgets and objectives
  • Experience with performance marketing and optimising digital activity to achieve client results
  • Facebook Blueprint certified (ideal)
  • Google Ads & Analytics Certified (ideal)
  • Experience with Tools:  SEMrush, WordPress, Shopify, Data Studio, SuperMetrics
  • Familiarity with MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, Bronto, Zoho.
  • Basic Understanding of SEO
  • Basic HTML coding understanding (ideal)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of metrics and ability to read insights from data
  • Advanced knowledge of social media – organic & paid
  • Strong understanding of funnel-based media segmentation
  • Team management experience an advantage
  • Drive, proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • A strong team player spirit who is prepared to support other areas of the business as and when required. 
  • Understanding & a keen interest in emerging technologies. 
  • Traditional Marketing experience is a bonus.
  • Current right to work in Australia
