Position Overview

Paro is looking to grow its Operations leadership team. The Director of Account Management will be integral in driving revenue growth by setting and driving account management strategy. The primary responsibility of account management is supporting our clients while, optimizing the return on investment of a Paro client.

Account Management is a core function of our Operations team, working cross-departmentally to ensure flawless execution and fulfillment on every project, as well as to identify new client needs and cross-sell opportunities. You are a team player and look forward to close collaboration between Operations, Sales, and Product. 

  • Lead and continue to build a high performing Account Management team that scales to match Paro’s growth by setting data/metrics-driven goals to ensure constant, quantifiable growth, while adapting to constant change (highly analytical)
  • Ensure Paro is realizing revenue according to the defined client life cycle milestones & ensure client satisfaction
  • Facilitate successful upsell and cross-sell initiatives with the team to ensure we have the highest performing account management function in Chicago.
  • Optimize account management procedures within the department and across other departments to ensure optimal operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Refine and implement departmental and/or company-wide processes for optimal client success.
  • Tracking team KPIs to provide transparency into the team’s success, and identity initiatives to address areas of opportunity for improvement both at the team and individual level.
  • Coaching, mentoring and training a team who play an integral role in ensuring high customer retention. Focus on each team member’s growth & development by providing areas of opportunity and visible career path
  • Hold each team member accountable by encouraging creativity and risk-taking, ideally resulting in the expansion of each client’s relationship with Paro
  • Be a strong leader who brings creativity, transparency & curiosity to set the team and uses these skills to proactively find short and long-term solutions
  • Tackle and solve escalated customer issues; you will be the most senior face of the company for your team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience, with stellar performance upselling & cross-selling to clients.
  • 4+ years of experience managing customer success or account management or implementation team
  • An overall hard worker- quick on your feet, detailed oriented, highly analytical, strong time management and communication skills
  • Relationship focused & empathetic: you understand the needs of current and prospective clients and are able to coach the team on how to use these skills (ie. customer service skills, compassion, responsive, resourceful and solution-oriented)
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and will use creative approaches to get the job done
  • Technically proficient with the capacity to quickly learn multiple software platforms
  • Solution-driven and excel at solving problems, particularly in team settings
  • You aspire to learn & grow, while building a scalable operation
